RIP Pinecoble Hattie

A sad day yesterday as I buried Hattie. She gave me 14 good years filled with wonderful memories. She was my first setter and showed me that the Ryman-type setters were a perfect match for my hunting style.

I know she'll be waiting for me across the rainbow bridge with her tail wagging happily.

Come on Hattie lets hunt em up.

Hard to believe 14 years passes so quickly. But then you look back at the pictures and realize it was probably 14 years and then some.

I believe George Bird Evans said: A dogs life is no less sweet for being short.

I'd like to thank everyone who emailed me in my time of sadness.

So sorry to hear this Grayphase...I have not been checking in as often as I did.....She was a pretty dog...I know the feelings well...

Things have been a little hard here as well we had to put my mother in a assisted living home...and with all the details, and my shoulder injury, just haven't been on all my web spots...
